Which drain holes are those?
 D4 hasn't missed a beat
 D4 hasn't missed a beat
		Just a good news story,
D4 3lt,left Qld now in Perth, 11000 km, which include
Buntine and Buchanan Hwy
some of the Humbert track (Gregory NP),
Gibb River Rd up to Mitchell Plateau, Kulumbaru,Mt Hart (almost to Walcot inlet),
Cape Levique,
Warroora station,
Quobba station(Red Bluff and Gnarloo),
Karajini NP
all towing a 2 ton Kimberley Karavan.
1 flat tyre (Pirelli atr) rock thru tread, split on the inside 50mm long, but the KK did the same on its 16" BFG T\A
Front pillar trim has blown off three times (gaffer taped now)
Have taped up the drain holes no dust inside (keep a\c on fresh air),mates LC200 is full of dust.
Just getting Southern LR to service and have a look for a rattle that its had since new (maybe they will look a bit better than local dealer)and away we go again
Just for the bean counters, 10975km,av fuel 12.9l\100k(off computer so more like 14.2l\100k), av speed 70kph (includes all the off road)
The D4 has been brilliantand Nara Bronze hides the red dirt well
cheers Ken

						Which drain holes are those?
Sounds great Ken, just you and the 200?
Are you staying there a while or heading back to Qld reasonably soon?
Bottom of all 4 doors and tail gate top there is a rubber seal that has small holes in it and a large drain hole either side in the corners
Rich.. The LC200 did the GRR only, just want to get a service and then back up north to Quobba station (Red bluff) surf is absolutely pumping and Perth is absolutely freezing
Cheers Ken

Know what you mean about Perth being freezing ken.. We had enough and are heading north with our van in tow for 3 weeks.. Now in Kalbarri and soon relocating to shark bay.. Final destination is exmouth.. Give us a wave/beep if/when you driv by!!
Fyi we have a 2.5 ton van and getting 14 ltrs/100 kms averaging 80 kms per hour (2.7lt).. Pulls like a train sits on 100 kmh easy (saving fuel has not been on my agenda with a car like this).. Done 22,000 kms and has not missed a beat.. Did the dirt road up to the gorges today and must admit had some fun pushing the limits of adhesion.. Sorry for driving past to all those sitting on 60 kmh..
