    Older style Mitch Hitch

    HI
Just a warning if you got your Mitch Hitch when they first came out,
If it has a 12mm bolt thru the recovery eyelet bush, it can flog out if pushed off road , Mitch Bros have revised it at some stage to 16mm bolt.
Mine elongated the bush and bent the bolt, which then lets the whole hitch angle down , It was still done up tight.
    I tow a 2ton Kimberley Karavan\ camper type thing

Ps Arron was great at getting the replacement upgrade to me in the middle of somewhere.

    Cheers Ken

I think some of the crush tubes may be too long and the bush is not so tight. If it wears it will get loose. If this happens the 12mm bolt will fail early. Also if not checked re-tightened after first use they can be loose from the get go.
If you have one of the early ones it may be a good idea to check to see if the bush has worn. Shorten the crush tube if needed and re-tighten the bolt.
If you are concerned yours is loose speak to Aaron and seek his advice.
