Thread: Does Hill Descent control work in reverse?

Hill decent works great in reverse. I recently used it on a steep section of clay/mud where I couldn't get to top of a track and had to reverse down. A little slip but I used the accelerator just ever so gently and the HDC took care of the rest with steering too.

use the +/- cruise control to alter speed of HDC as mentioned by others works well too.

Hi

I reversed down a rather steep, wet and muddy track yesterday.

I put in on HDC (low range with reverse), but it was too fast. I ended up manually braking all the way down.

I tried to use the cruise control to slow it down, but that did not slow it.

Is the reverse HDC faster than HDC in 1st and low range?

What the experience of the group?
