Nice one Adzee, does your D3 have roof rails?
If so you can make up a bracket like these:
I just made this one up:

So as you all either have one or know about them a lot more than I do as yet, what is the best(first) thing to do to ensure smooth sailing motoring. What checks/or tests of the vehicle should/could I do to make sure all is fine before I hit the brown stuff?
I have Llams unit coming tomorrow in preparation for my "lift" kit installation.
I am Getting a TDV6 2005 SE White Disco 3 with 74000 on the clock. Also if anyone has fitted an antenna anywhere but a bull bar can you add a link here? I just cannot seem to find it in my searches.
Thanks in advance, and look forward to maybe meeting some of y'all on the tracks.![]()

You can buy a bracket that fits to the bonnet.

Thanks, the one for the bonnet seems good for me at this time even though I have roof rails.
Picked the car up yesterday and am very happy, until today when the bong made itself known. The airbag symbol is on now, and reading it could be a few things I'll contact the stealer next week. Also - with the radio it seeks when I am on radio station preset 6.
Anyone had this happen before?
Got the llams kit and will fit when weather permits.![]()
Mine is random, but happens mostly when I select 6, but only after a minute or so... Will try resetting tomorrow.
Adzee - welcome to the "quirky" world of LandRover ownership - apart from the odd "bong" you'll love it.
What part of our great country do you hail from ?
cheers![]()
Adzee
I fitted an on glass antenna which has done what I wanted it to do.
It looks like a mobile phone antenna & is supplied with two different antenna lengths - basically one for low speed & greater range & one for highway speeds with reduced range.

Chuck
I live in Mooroolbark Victoria, just can't work out how to put that info up near my name. Looked through User CP and everything!
A mate has the uniden adhesive antenna (nothing sticking on the outside) which is cool, but his range is poor, and as I have an antenna it's more about having a bracket found which I got a link above for.![]()
I am taking it out in gembrook in the shabby wranglers. Wish me luck. Hehe - but will get GG's as soon as I can afford. I had them on my Forester and they were amazing! Never got bogged, stuck etc, only issue was the foz would rather hold the rear steady on a hill for safety rather than trying to drive up the hills. (I am talking fairly extreme rock steps etc) so I am hoping they will be just as good.
My only issue is I have heard about GG AT's and I have owned AT2's, from what I can see they don't come in 18" is that right?
Do you guys ever meet up for drives out in the bush or anything? Would be nice to see some of your rigs!

Adzee,
The GG AT2's most certainly do come in 18" as this is one of the reasons they are so popular is that there isn't many other all terrain options for the 18 wheels.
Cheers,
Neil.
