oil or similar spraying from under glove box?

A run up oodnadatta track was fun. Drive around Coober Pedy was interesting- odd place. Starting the Disco 3 after a flight over lake Eyre saw a strong spray of a oily liquid from under the glove box on hte passanager side. turned car off and cleaned up having a look and can see nothing to explain it. was it Air Con? Oil? or Diesel??
Starting up again and nothing else cam out. Turn AC on and again nothing, 1000km later and no reoccurance, Odd and still wondering what it was. It did not seem to be fuel but smelt and felt like oil. It cam out in a jet like spray splashing on the door and floor. Any thoughts?

"under the glove box on hte passanager side. " Is there another glovebox other than the one on the Passenger side ?
Was this visible from inside or outside the car ? Did you pull out the pollen filter for a look in there ? No smell ? as if from a sudden vent of air-con gas or even a cloud of smoke from the Fuse area ? A wayward rodent got in there and met its maker ? dont laugh it happened to mine !!!!

Sad to see my typing is as bad as usual sorry. Visable to me from the drivers seat and to the other half who got it on her left foot. No smoke but I swear I could hear a noise. It was like a water pistol spray which stoped as soon as I shut off the engine. I assume A/C issue and turned it off when restarting. Turning the A/C back on did not cause a problem. The oil was clear so doubt a mouse met it make in my event

Is the A/C still working efficiently?
There is oil mixed in the gas lines, it sounds like a leak, did you see any blue or grey haze?
Very strange to leak a tiny bit & not the lot. maybe some sort of valve there though I've never heard of such a thing.
BTW All my refrigeration experience is with large supermarket equipment so I may be way off base.

I agree it seem and sounds like the AC but it is working well. 800km back to Melbourne yesterday and the AC work fine- better than the rest of my truck. No haze seen. Will post again after service if my truck lasts till monday.

    Whoops WD 40

Craig from Ritters just called. side door pocket had a small aerosol can- it was empty! WD40 Whoops. She who must be obeyed brought the kitchen sink and dishwasher on her first ever camping trip and she must have dumped something on top of it the can when she got in as I was starting the engine. She opened the door to get out of the spray and must have moved her important (JUNK) off it as I was turning the engine off . I was so busy cleaning her leg, the floor and looking from where I thought the jet was coming from and did not see the empty can in the side pocket of the open door. Ok I should have look more- LOL
