    2008 SE without ipod connection

    Gday All,

I know you can retro fit the connection, but I thought all SE models have the AUX jack fitted..Have had a good look around but cant find 1 yet.

Is there any other secret spots other than on the back of the centre console ?

    Cheers Ean

I have a 2007 SE and was also surprised at the lack of AUX and Mp3 support. You will need to fit the Aux lead yourself as it's usually at the back of the centre console box (facing rear passengers) and as far as I'm aware was only added to HSE models even though the AUX button was on the std radio
There are heaps of threads about it so do a search. The wiring is there, you just need to tap into it.

Good job the rest of the car is awesome !

    G'day Ean,
I've got an '08 SE and the Aux socket is in the back of the centre console. Sounds strange that there is not one there.

It is only included in an S or SE if it was upgraded to the Premium Sound system.

Yep - mine's an SE with the "standard" sound system so no AUX connection.
I just wired into the plug near the bonnet release and put my own AUX connection over on the centre console - works well.
