According to the Rhino Rack website their cross bars do have mounts that will fit the factory/dealer fitted OEM rails. I have not checked this with my local Rhino Rack guy, but I have the factory rails and cross bars (were on the vehicle when I bought it) and I think that the Rhino Rack Cross bars seem better suited for accessory use. I will probably change them over at some stage.

As I mentioned, Thule has mountings for the Landrover roof rails and also for the Rhino roof rails, so I don't see why Rhino wouldn't have the same. Gives you plenty of options for bars of any cost and shape.

Not sure on the cost but you can also get Windcheetah roof rails form opposite lock.. No idea of the cost mind you.

Looks like the LR tracks are over double the price of the rhino tracks,LR around $450 &rhino around $165,both not fitted.These are for tracks for the higher section of roof.Rhino also make a short track for the front section,( around $86)then a higher leg to suit the front bar.Maybe i will have to put the pop in.
LR also make one long track that goes the full lenght of the roof,can't remember the price,possibly around the $870 mark?
LR tracks from Duckworths are nearly as much,once you ad freight.
Rhino have legs for the LR tracks.
Has anyone actually fitted the rhino tracks?

I have thge windcheetah rails on my D3 and have had them fitted for 3 years to attach a windcheetah rack. They use the factory mount points and there is no need to pop rivet them to the roof.

The thing that steered me away from wind cheetah was the weight. I lifted one at opposite lock that would fit my D4 and it was significantly heavier, and with the 75 kilo limit, decided to go with the lighter rhino racks....and they are still not incredibly light.
The advantage of cheetah was no rivets at the front, due to the structural difference in the rack, and more attachments for accessories.
You don't need the front legs mounted if you choose the shorter rack.
