    1. Complete electronic shutdown at random including Bluetooth, Audio, Navigation but not dash electrics.
What is " Complete electronic shutdown"? Do you mean the car is dead? Won't start/run? Or are you just referring to the AC/infotainment unit?

Most of the electronic issues you raise sound like a battery problem.

    Cheers,

My SDV6 came with a orange clip to pop in the tank so the high flow can work. Call your dealer and ask them to explain it to you as they did for me. I bought mine from MLR and got a brief but quality run down on the car for the 10 mins I had spare when i picked it up !!!

Tell me more about this. I thought it was just to reset when the wrong nozzle was inserted.

Its the missfueling reset device, they told me to shove it in, fill it up then take it out.....messy though and not something I have had to do yet. If anyone has tried it, let us all know. I have not been home long enough to enjoy the new bus yet to let you know for myself.

Probably just ensures the flap isn't caused to shut due to the high flow. Will try it out when I have to with the van on as sometimes I can only fit into the truck lanes with high flow.

I always thought high flow was for trucks and big fuel tanks. With low/normal flow it doesn't really take very long to fill the tank. What's another minute to stand and admire the view from outside the car?

Be aware that in Caltex roadhouses there is truck diesel and Vortex diesel. The vortex is for our vehicles and is dispatched in with the petrol on the forecourt with the low flow nozzle. The truck diesel is at the side or around the back and has the standard diesel.
The vortex has a higher cetane level specifically for our type of high speed, high performance diesels and over time with my previous Nissan Patrol and my wife's VW Golf it gives better running and consumption. So far on my new D4 3.0l I have used the vortex fuel exclusively, and will use the BP premium as well if it is available.
This fact I observed a couple of weeks ago when driving to and from Coffs Harbour to Sydney return as there are different prices on the boards.
