Hi all,
I am looking at making a move to purchase some 18" rims through Gordon.
For those that have already, are you able to post some pics???
Also, what tyres did you choose (I will obviously see in the photos for those that post them).
Thanks in advance, Craig

Well, I have taken the plunge and ordered the 18" wheels from Gordon and at this stage will go with the Cooper AT3 265/18/60.
Wheels aren't cheap, but I figure that by the time I sell my rims and pay less for the 18" tyres, it will help soften the blow.
BTW: I have a set of 5 / 19" rims (my second set) with MTR's for sale. They have at least 50% tread left on them.
Will also be selling my D4 SE rims in about a months time. I kept the original tyres when I bought the ATR's. They have done 27K. The spare is new.
PM me if anyone is interested.
Cheers, Craig
Thanks Mowog those wheels certainly do look the part. I've received partial approval from the minister of war & finance to make the purchase. I may have to do some figure shuffling to factor in the price of the tires.. How much are the Continentals per tire anyway? And will the spare fit up under in the original location?Originally Posted by mowog

The conti's will fit in the original spare location because they are the same rolling diameter as the OEM wheels and tires. This was a primary consideration in Tyre choice.
I however have never fitted one there because I have an aux tank.
Price... I have heard wildly different prices for them. I think I paid about $420 a Tyre. People here have reported prices under $400 for them but I couldn't find any below that in Brisbane.
When the original group buy was on for these wheels there were endless discussions on tyre choices. I have found the Conti's to be a a good tyre with not a lot of noise over the OEM 20's I have. Handling isn't as good on the 18's but that's to be expected.
