Thread: We love this D4 3.0

Hasn't the use of CC whilst towing heavy loads triggered 'Limp Mode' in some Forum Member's cars?

Got back last night from a great weekend out gold prospecting did find a small nugget with a GPX5000 and it was borrowed lol our first time out! Got the fever.. anyway the D4 towed the 2tonne van with ease and the best thing about the trip it was 5 hrs of hills with same flat road! but we keep to the speed limit ha ha well there was once we over took a truck and by the time we got back over we were doing 140km **** and I wasn't even trying.

Fuel was around 18.5l per 100km there and back home 16l per 100km which I'm very happy with because it was to the speed limit, and we have a strong headwind in both directions.

If only we had this car for our Victorian trip that just went.

So the d4 has been paid off now with the gold you found? Or more holidays required still? :-)

we just returned from 450kms towing our 3.5 tonne horse float. Used cruise virtually the whole way, as it was flat.
Towed very well. No issue with any power reduction here.
