    All D4'd up

Well I've dropped the hammer on a new D4 SDV6 HSE in Ipanema Sand with keyless entry, e-diff, tyre pressure monitor and side body moldings.

I've gone for black interior because i need to ferry around 5 kids under 12 so thought it was the sensible choice.

    Planned additions will be
    - General Grabber AT's
    - Side steps
    - Mudflaps
    - Llams
    - tow bar
    - roof rack
    - +/- long range tank
    - +/- rear wheel carrier
    - Bullbar at some point
    - driving lights

I think its a build order so I have to wait till around July for delivery but cest la vie.

Olid4 You will not be unhappy with the D4 and you will be over the moon with the colour.
I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago (white 3.0l with xenon lights, e diff, reversing camera and hi-line sound and black interior). I had planned a trip away but I am now sitting in a hotel room in India waiting for spares for the aircraft I am looking after here instead of doing a Murray River trip from Coffs to Mildura and then along the river to Albury and back home.
I did succeed in putting 2500K on the clock before going away and still having difficulty wiping the permagrin off my face.
It is a heavy vehicle but is very nimble and powerful with excellent fuel economy and coming from a Patrol is simply luxurious. The electric seats and armrests are great and I do have plenty of leg room (6'2") and the sound system connected to my i-pod sounds great.
Did I say I like it???????
    Cheers Graeme

Well done mate - sounds like you have a really nice vehicle there.

I'm guessing that time will move in super slow motion for you until you get to pick it up.
    Cheers,

    Sean

Sounds like a lovely vehicle, your tale reminds me of the time I spent 10 days in a hotel in New Delhi waiting for spares for our HS-748 - a long, long time ago......'73 if I remember right.....anyway enjoy your new toy when you get home...and don't forget to post some pics so we can all enjoy it with you !!!
    cheers
