    Angry Weird Battery Terminals

Have done a search but cant seem to find an answer , what is the best way to get 12v power from the battery in my RRS as the + & - battery posts has some sort of uneven concaved arrangment when the retaining nut is undone making it unsuitable for a pick up wire to be fixed to. . Or do i take it apart and Ausie it . ?? Thanks for any info .

Thats what I was going to say - now try running an extra heavy duty earth from the -ive terminal of the battery - you do not have the extra holes that the +ive terminal has .

Thats right Garry , on mine there was enough thread left stiking up on the - terminal bolt to alow me to use a flat nut to fix my earth strap onto the top of the - terminal to power my brake controller , failing that i was going to use the earth pionts just outside the front of the battery box on the inside of the mudgaurd . If your Disco or Rangie is MY 2010 or newer, do NOT attach anything to the -ve terminal!! Use one of the earth points located in front of the battery, otherwise the computers will throw a hissy fit ...........

    Cheers,

    Gordon
