Have you had a look up inside the receiver hole to see if there is any crud up there to stop the hitch going all the way up . Had to give mine a good hose out and then ok .

						SubscriberHi all.
I need 2 things;
Firstly, how to fit the receiver for the tow hitch into the socket on the chassis as mine will not go all the way up no matter what I do?
Secondly, has anyone want to sell a tow ball and tongue that fits into the housing?
Thanks

Is the key in the hitch already? If it is not it may be in the fitted position, you will to follow the instructions on the green section of the handle to release the lock mechanism so it will fit into the chassis.
If the key is not in the handle you may also find that the lock mechanism is damaged as the key is not supposed to be removed from the hitch when removed from the vehicles chassis.
HTH.

Search for the Mitch Hitch option too, if you're looking at serious towing.
