Also - I have noticed some sites give you the option of using the built in search or google when you click on the search button. Can that be implemented easily?

Well something is wrong then. Every time I try a word < 4 characters I get:the current setting is a minimum of two and a maximum of 80
so am not sure where your getting four from..

ARB (yet ARBS or arbs gives 86 responses. arb* gives the message quoted above)
SysAdmin (Owner)

bmw* gives me 288 responses
bm* gives me 916 responses
b* i went to sleep waiting for the max 3000 responses..
did i mention i just turned * on as a wildcard in the internal search options...
