    Ok thanks. This is the sort of info that helps to make an informed decission on a purchase. That can also be used as a bargaining chip for me when negotiating a price with the dealer. Thaks heaps guys for the info. I really apreciate it.

    Did you end up buying it adam? I just got myself a D3 SE 2007 and it's a beauty.... so happy to be back in the land of The Landy!!!!

    My advice (after speaking with my local Landy expert) is stay away from the V8 and get the diesel (even though I got petrol as can't afford an extra $10k). Service history is SO important on these cars. I'd say the one being serviced by the dealer would be a good choice - especially as we all know how good the dealerships are at doing more than what is required and charging you for it!! Also you need to seriously bargain your butt off if it's from a dealer. I was able to get him to drop the price by $3,750. Push for it - and also get them to fix any paint marks/scratches etc. They did for me and with a detail too the car looks brand new.

    Hey Adam, are you still looking for a D3, i have a se V6 petrol that i am thinking of parting with, has a few extras and still has warranty till end of September.
