Sorry, a modification to your vehicle cannot void any part of the warranty in itself.
Void means there is no warranty.
Under consumer law LR would need to convince a court that the modification caused the failure. Of course they have bigger wallets if they wish to pursue. Same as claims beyond warranty under "reasonable expectation".
A modification in itself does not void a warranty.
If this was so any modification would void the warranty. Bull Bar, racks, winch, rear bar, CB or second battery (would void all elecrical failures?)
Manufacturer must consider the warranty claim, they can however refuse the claim for the above reasons.
