Personally, I think that is a descent price, when considering buying one from OS & then shipping what turns out to be a reasonably heavy package.

The factory kit I have fitted a few of now, Now that is an expensive exercise. Must remember that the factory kit includes a Warn winch.

I got a quote from a Sydney stealer last week for the Warn, they are showing as an accessory. Nearly fell off the chair when $6250 (or something pretty close) dropped off her lips... Needless to say I won't be going down that road when I spec my new one up eventually.

For $1500 more you could get a deluxe winch bar, more features but best of all the added security of protection

Devon 4x4 in the UK have discreet winch mount kit, I don't think it's overly expensive.
