Good Year Wrangler Silent Armours are good in my experience, that on a Land Cruiser ute though, not sure what size you want (and if they're available) and also the terrain would affect it aswell
Cheers

Hi there, I am heading off (in about 7 weeks) on a trip around Aus towing a 2700 (ATM) van with my D3 HSE TDV6 (the download on the tounge will be about 260KG's). My question is, what are the best tyres to be towing this sort of weight with my D3 ??
Any suggestions or lessons learnt would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks.

I run 265/65x17 Bridgestone d694 in the LT they have a load rating of 116. The new version Is D697. I also have 18 standard wranglers with a load rating of 112 and find I need to run them at 50psi the max inflation pressure when loaded and towing camper trailer at speed I still get a 6psi increase so this would be the lowest load rating in my opinion. The d694s can be taken to 65psi but I have found about 56psi is about right for me with a 5psi increase. If you cannot go to 17 inch your options are somewhat limited. Try and run the highest load rated tyre you can find in a legal size for your state.
