    End of warranty inspections

So it's almost 3 years since new so factory warranty is coming up for its 3rd birthday.
Has anyone on the forum got any experience to share on how they have made sure any outstanding warranty work is done before its coming out your own pocket?

Dealer found a few things to do on mine before warranty ran out. I just asked them to check.

Just before mine ran out I got an inspection done by an independant LR specialist and I'm glad I did. When I presented LR with the report they did not really question it unlike the multiple times I personally presented them with the same issues that blind Freddy would have noticed. If I ever again go through the LR warranty wringer, I would get in writing their promises to fix anything after the warranty has run out if mentioned prior to warranty expiring. In my experience this is a straight out lie. You will fight tooth and nail to get them to do the right thing.

All I can say is to not use ****. Bloody awful and when I posted on here about them they threatened legal action unless it was pulled.

    Go figure!

I took it to the dealer when I was getting the 6 year service done and asked them to look for any issues, they found quite a few and was able to get those fixed while still on the lease plan and lease company paid!

I'd suggest that they should be looking for and advising on these issues everytime they have it in.

I still have about 2 years of the extended LR warranty to go.

    cheers

C'mon guys, please don't play around with this one as Inc has had to do a lot of work behind the scenes to clear it up.
