    Question Radio D3/

Anyone out there know if a D3 SE radio will fit a D3S, as my D3S radio has died. Also if anyone has got any idea where I can get hold of a used radio in good condition, either for a D3S or a D3SE.
    Regards,
    Joc.

From what I have read and been told, the base spec radio in S and some SE cannot be swapped with the up range system. You can retrofit a double-din model stereo of any make...ie aftermarket.

Other than e-bay the only place I think you will find a L/R stereo would be TRS in lonsdale SA

There is a very good aftermarket sat nav/radio combo that fits where the original sat nav goes.

Freeway car audio has photos on their web site.

Joc - have you tried a hard reset? The base model stereos (CD400 with single CD) had a bad habit of going dead - especially if a car wash was too liberal with the hose. A hard reset should get it back to life - if this was the case.

When was the last time it had a download done to it also?

Would try a hard reset first as mentioned . . . See FAQ for instructions.

    Cheers

The good news with the low line HU is that there are no complications replacing it with an aftermarket double din unit and adding wahtever you want in the way of amps and apeakers.
