i like the way it matches with your tyre colour too
lol...
But more seriously, ive never noticed a colour coded one and usually I like the contrast normal black against whatever car colour
I have recently seen a white Safari Snorkel fitted to a white Land Cruiser. Must admit that it looked strange having only ever seeing black snorkel previously. It also looked as though it had been resprayed!

I have seen a white colour coded OEM raised intake on a RRS. It looked good but I think the Safari one would look odd colour coded.
Don't know why you would bother, it will cost quite a it to do it well, it will look odd, and being plastic it will likely flex and crack and the paint will come off after a few years and look really crap.

SubscriberI don't agree about the cost or technical aspects but I am curious about how it'd look because I just personally think the snorkel looks pretty brutal stuck on the D4 unless you're going the whole hog with bull bar etc. It looks more at home on the D3 without the colour coded flares etc. Just my opinion.

Stuart
I understand & have seen both on a vehicle.
Both were white D4's.
Mine vehicle has color coded side strips in white but my RAI is black & have seen a clients with it color coded.
If it is a dark colored vehicle then letting it stay black is ok as it matches the "A" pillar & the rest of the trims down the vehicle.
But being white it does stand out a little, BUT when you see it painted I don't think (my opinion) you will like it. It stands out even further as you normally know they are black & it just seems to continually catch your eye.
Good Luck in your choice. Regardless what we all say it is your vehicle :-)
Cheers
