    Will D4 shocks fit a D3?

Time to replace my rear shocks and can remember reading somewhere that the D4 shocks will fit a D3 just marginally different in length. Airbag not coil setup.

I'm interested as the D4 are stiffer and probably better for my towing and the gear I carry.

    Can anyone confirm or deny?

    Thanks....

Only doing 1 end will make the handling a bit unusual although if needing to replace shocks anyway then the handling is already not real good. I swapped my D4 fronts for D3s but that unbalanced the ride so had to swap the rears too.

    Hmmmmm... food for thought Graeme.

Thanks... I replaced the fronts a few months ago with standard D3 Delphis so keen to not throw out the balance.

    Cheers...
