Recently had some work done on the car away from my land rover dealer, which included a wheel alignment. Absolutely terrible alignment which is being fixed shortly. When I asked land rover they said there is a trick to aligning the new discos. 1. Must have a full tank of fuel. 2. Computer must be placed in "alignment"mode. (or a name like that)
Has anyone got details about this? What happens if you need an alignment in the outback?

Tight tolerance mode or geometry set mode can be activated via Autogogic, LR system or Faultmate. Most indies have Autologic. It sets the suspension so it moves less ensuring the suspension is level for the alignment. It can be doen without but you get abetter and more reliable results with it being done pior the the alignment.

My D4 is getting on a bit now, but I was under the impression that very few systems were capable of putting a D4 in TTM.
Is that no longer the case?
When I got the Scorpion ATRs fitted not that long ago, not a single major supplier knew how to or even knew of the need for TTM.
Cheers,
Kev.
