Just ordered a set of 19 LEDs from the US through eBay for $58 AUS for my 2012 RRS. Seems like pretty good value. Sold as a complete internal replacement set for the 2010-2012 RRS. The same US company seems to have set for all models.

    Inc postage? Not bad...

Do the LEDs save significant energy?

Yes includes postage. Re energy saving ... the supplier says that they use less power because they are LED. I took a punt and will wait and see what my money gets me. I will post a report when they arrive and I install them.

I got some small bulb replacement LEDs from supercheap for about $7 each and they are well and truly bright enough.

The punt did not work out well. 1 full set of internals and I have tried fitting all the major internal lights with the new LED’s. The only LED that worked is the boot light. The rest e.g. map lights etc, while the original bulbs look the same as the boot light, the replacement LED’s do not work. I have emailed the supplier and will see what happens… You live and learn!

    X2

LED (Light Emiting Diode) diodes only let electrons go one way
    Try turning them around
