    Landrover Waterproof Seat Covers

    Hi All,

    I was wondering if any forumites have used or seen the LR seat covers and had any comments on their quality/fit etc. I was thinking of a set for the middle (2nd row) for where the kids tend to sit and spread their bikky crumbs etc...

    I have them on all 7 seats on mine & think they are brilliant. A bit of a pain to fit but are good quality

    Where are the good ones obtainable from Pete as I would like some for the back of mine. I have seen them advertised on the D3 forum but were not the 35/30/35 ones.
    2012 Fuji White 3.0 D4, Rear view camera, Hi-line sound, E-diff, Xenon lights, ARB winch bar, Lightforce 240 50w HID. Brads sliders.

    There are part numbers on the system.
    So they are available?

    Also the Melville & Moon covers are the best things i have seen so far.

    I have Landrover original seat covers in my D4 (airbag compatible) and Def 90 all ordered from the UK at half the cost of here. All good and easy to fit. Part numbers are on the LR website under accessories.

    I asked about these from my dealer today, only to be informed that they don't meet ADR and so not available. At least that was their reason. They are certainly not on the LR Australia website.

    One my therefore ask, how can they be half price in the UK if they are not actually available in Australia?

    So far no luck with the usual UK suspects, so one may ask whom you acquired them from?

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    I had a quote from ULR here in Melbourne a couple of years ago of nearly one thousand bucks for a set for the D4 so they were available here. I can't imagine why they don't meet ADR as they are airbag compatible.
    I got mine from Tim Britnell at Dingocroft who by the way seem to do better prices for most stuff than some of the bigger LR suppliers in the UK.

    I have the Melvill & Moon covers, bought from Exmoor Trim in the UK. Fully airbag compliant & a very high quality canvas cover, I'm very pleased I bought them. As they were the last set they had for the RRS I got them for £250, a veritable bargain.

    Talking to the woman at Exmoor Trim, they've modelled their canvas covers on the M&M ones. They certainly look the same. perhaps if a few people want them then a 'group buy' of some description may be worth exploring.

    Yeah got mine in the uk

    Just go to eBay and change the settings to Uk and search for seat covers. When you find some then ask them for a price to ship to Aus

    Got me a full set for the defender for $70 delivered from the uk.
