D3 Display screen - red flashing square

In the Offroad touch screen display you can see the wheel display.

Above and below each of the wheel images there is a small white square.
One of my (front driver side) squares above the wheel image is flashing red.

Could this be a tyre pressure warning light ?? or something else a little more important.

    Thanks for any advice offered.

All that flashing square is showing is that you are reaching or have reached the limit of travel. In the case of the square under the wheel, it would show that you are lifting or have lifted the wheel off the ground.

It's not uncommon to lift a wheel off-road, it's not uncommon to have 2x wheels lifted either (cross-axled) but I would probably start to get twitchy if there were 4x flashing red bars under the wheels!!

    Access mode stationary

Thats pretty interesting as I was in Access mode and stationary ... bt if I go to road height its IK

The tyres are too small at 255 55 R18 so this may be the reason ... or could it be a sensor on the 'blink' or 'flash'?

    I wouldn't worry about them.
I occasionally have this occur too, when in Access mode parked on a nice level garage floor. Start her up and raise up to standard and they disappear.
No fault codes show up with my fault code reader post this occurrence.

No, that sounds about correct. Don't worry about it.

You've got the car in access mode... That is right down on its bump stops pretty much. That is at the limit of travel in one direction. The sensor is doing its job.

I'd also hazard a guess that you've got the car parked on a very slight slope, which is why the OSF indicator is flashing.

    Thanks

Yes the car is in access and on slight slope when flashing ... then when raised its all clear ..

I thought it was just a sensor error of some kind but its probably doing its job, without fault, due to the slope.

I was also interested in finding what the squares both upper and lower were for.

    So thanks all.

Great resource, both the forum and the net in general.
