Gday AnD3rew, looking real good mate, don't worry about the long range tank I haven't marked mine yet even after doing some rock ledges during the week (admittedly the towbar helps prevent any damage lol) I'm looking at doing my cargo barrier next as I'm going to have a go at the drawers as per Rich's posts is that the autosafe one you have put in and how do you find it?

    Cheers

    AnD3rew,

    Very nice.

What bar are you putting on ? winch as well ?

You might also want to consider rock sliders/sill protectors for that last bit of added comfort when off road.

I like the foxwing and am very close to making the decision to purchase one for myself for Christmas, similar to you I have an Oztent and with the foxwing seems I could be could be set up and enjoying an ale in 10min!!

    George.

Is that extra low (button pressed after selecting low) in access mode or just low in access mode? It doesn't look low enough for extra low with access mode.

I was wondering that myself. It is switch moved to green position and then access height selected. Greg at Cremorne didn't fit the red switch, he said it was only for D4, should it be fitted for my D3?

Yes it is Autosafe, seems ok, you lose the set of tie down points closest to the seats which is where the bottom of the barrier bolts in. The top come from two metal strips which run from under the plastic trim directly inside the top of the rear door. I haven't tried to take it out yet, but it looks pretty simple 4 screws to undo which leave the attachment tabs in the car.

I'd overlooked that its a D3 but it does work for the very last ones. Anyway, you'll need to access the button to get off-road height if an ABS fault occurs which causes only safe/access height.

Mine is one of the last ones, a 2009. Maybe I will get him to put it in when I take it back.

The switch may be connected but still sitting half inside the black box.

    Edit: Here's where mine's fitted.

Just got back from 2nd round of mods.

Traxide USI 160 Dual Battery kit with rear plugs and Anderson Plug.

Tekonsha Primus IQ trailer brake controller

Special mode switch installed for Llams

    GME TX3540 80Ch UHF

    GOE compressor bash plate.

General Grabber AT's, wanted AT2's to match spares, but not available for months. Have to say only short bitumen trip on the so far, but they felt great and very quiet.

Very happy, will post some pics this weekend. Now just hoping my ARB bar will finally be delivered early next week so I can get it installed with my Champion/Warrior winch next week.
