Hi Peter,
I do know that the Cooper LTZs foul with the ARB bar. They have an OD of 800mm.
Cheers, Craig

						Hi Guys
Has anyone experience at running the BFG 265 65 18 ATs with an OD of 802mm on a D4 with an ARB bull bar fitted.
On GOE rims
I hear the wing on the bull bar could cause rubbing?
Thanks Peter

Yes the LTZ (285) caused me issues with the ARB. Ended up with the AT3

I know the new Maxxis Bighorn 18"m/t has an OD of 790 if your interested in those

Play tyres need to be soft, that reduces cutting. Hard rubber gives extended mlleage but generally at reduced grip (longer braking distance, etc). Wheels are cheap to buy on eBay, therefore IMHO it pays to have 2 sets of tyres, one for every day use (they could be AT's) and play tyres (MTR's). The long term cost could be neutral.
Where on the ARB bullbar does the 265/60/r18 foul.
I can understand the LTZ 285 width fouling being 30mm wider than OEM

Had a play in the mud on the weekend for the first time with the Cooper LTZ's.
Best AT off road tyre I have ever had. I was very surprised at their performance in the mud.
If you can put up with a slight hum on the black stuff, they are a good choice of AT tyre.
Cheers, Craig
