Discovery 3 - Roof Rack height

Hi, I am looking at moving from the Freelander 2 to a Discovery 3 although trying to work out if it will fit in this garage. I have the total height figures in access mode however don't know how much height two roof bars will add including the bar legs. Can anyone with some roofbars measure the total height of the bar legs and bars? I realise different manufacturers have different sizes so would be good to know what the big brands like Thule and rhino rack measure up to.

I have a rooftop tent on the freelander so plan to move that over and know the total height of that. Then I can work out if it will fit. I imagine it will be close though :-).

    Rich.

I have some Bars and will NOT go into a carpark with LESS than 2.1 M height... (in access mode).

I actually park @ home under a carport, my D3 will not fit in my 9 x 6 M garage even without the bars :-(

On my D4 the top of my Rhino Aero bars with RLT502 legs set on factory long tracks at Normal height is 1995mm and at Access height is 1945mm. This is for the rear cross bar which is 5mm higher than where I have my front (mid of the second row doors).
I'm assuming D3 with air suspension is the same as D4. Sunvisor heights say Normal height roof is 1920mm. By measurement the Rhino setup is 125mm on top of teh height of the roof tracks which puts the roof at 1875mm. LR are probably allowing some suspension movement.
I regularly drive in a carpark which is marked as 2.0m at Access height and haven't hit anything yet but I do go slow over speed bumps as at Access height the vehicle does bounce a bit.

I have a Dolium Pty Ltd wind cheetah supplied by opposite lock Mitcham

With a few extras on top being spare wheel carrier (no wheel), a high lift jack and a jerry can holder I get into car parks with 2.2 m hight restrictions in normal hight. I cannot get into the same with a wheel ontop so it is close . I doubt a roof top tent would get under 2.3m
Height to top of the rack with nothing else added on top is just under 2m at normal ride height.

Thanks for all the responses. Great pictures :-)

So the garage is 222.5 and its an underground one so the 222.5 will be the lowest point somewhere in the garage. I need to work out if that's on the way to my parking spot or not. The rooftop tent is 300mm so it's looking tight.

So with the rhino bars and legs its looking like the following with the rooftop tent.

    Normal height - 1995 + 300 = 2295mm
    Access height - 1945 + 300 = 2245mm

Garage is 2225 so 2cm too big to fit in access height.

I seem to be asking a lot of questions today. Do the tracks for fitting the bar legs come as standard on the D3? Also just had an email from rhino suggesting there new RLTP leg is 50mm plus heavy duty bar at 42 which would take the total to 92 which sounds better.
