I thought I would give myself a challenge. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1357045625.055576.jpg fitting a compressor and 1 gal air tank into ImageUploadedByTapatalk1357045695.970174.jpg
It took a fair bit of tack welding and re-welding, but I ended up with this:

The compressor attaches to the bracket and hangs upside down at a 45 degree angle behind the headlight.

I thought I was being really clever when I dropped bolts down behind the headlight using my flexible claw picking up tool, it wasn't until I dropped my uni socket down there and then proceeded to push it further down that I found out how easily the headlight removes for access to the area.
I'm really enjoying this car and looking forward to more projects soon, redarc remote elec brake controller is next.
Cheers Tom.

Nice job mate not much room on them...
Very Nice,
I have the compressor mounted there & my DBS mounted in front of the brake booster. Fits with ease.
Was toying with the idea of fitting a tank, but will see where else I can squeeze one in :-)
Cheers

Very nice Tom.
My ARB compressor that is fitted there now seems like it is wasting too much space..
Nice job, but I always wonder what the attraction is of permanently installing compressors under the bonnet?
I have a Traxide dual battery kit with and Anderson plug at the rear and I have an ARB portable compressor in a box with an Anderson plug and I plug it in and am using it in seconds. I find this a much cheaper and more flexible option than installing it, and it has the advantage that I can take it and use it on other cars etc.
