Thread: D3-HSE, D4-2.7 or D4-3l?

Having just been through a similar exercise, ultimatley it will be how much your need the fruit on an D3 HSE over say a 2.7 D4. We ended up with a D4 2.7 as we preferred having a bit of new car warranty left and preferred the styling given we are planning to hold onto it for a few years.

I think you will struggle to get one of the 3 litres on a budget of 60k. Cheapest i could find (in Perth area) was a 2010 and that was about 67k. others were mid 70's. We picked up a 2011 2.7 for mid 60's.

Our 2.7 has 18 inch rims - think its only the 3l that has 19?

Sorry I meant to say that yeah I'd expect to have to go to at around $65k at least perhaps for the 3L. There's a few around for around $66k-$68k it seems. And yes I think you have to go 19" with the 3L because of the brakes or something but would be good to confirm this.

The 3 ltr comes with either 19" or 20" rims. The LR 18" rims won't fit over the callipers. If you want 18" rims, I can supply rims that will fit.
