Can anyone recommend an All Terrain Tyre for a D3?

    Thank you for this information.
I have the Cooper ATR's fitted at present and have had countless punctures! When I approached the distributor, I was told they are a road construction Tyre and could not be recommended for off road use. Would you know if the BFG AT LT265/65R18 rub when the suspension is lowered to access height (lowest setting)?

Is this tyre case, a light truck construction?

If it drops to bump stops YES.

Go the Dueler - better than the BFG and cheaper.

    Sure is...

Search D697 on this forum. There's even a photo showing thickness of rubber vs BFG.

These things are bloody strong, and perform great - I have hammered mine in last 2 months.

6,000km on all terrains... And going great.

I had Pirreli Scorpion ATR on the D3 and have them on the D4. I've found them to be a great tyre.

I'll be interested to see how the 697's go in about another 6,000 k's as just over 10k was when the 16" 694's on my D2a started to get a bit loud and seemed not to ride quite as well.

Time will tell how the new model goes, my old 694's after doing around 35k now live on my caravan and still have plenty of tread left.

    cheers,
    Terry
