I have a gap like that on my D3 drivers seat ...I can tell you right now it is caused by a fat arse squashing the bolsters. ...
Luckily you can get the seat fixed, not sure what to do about me fat arse though.
cheers,
Terry
Hi all,
I have been lurking on these forums for a few months since I got rover fever. Started out looking at 01/02 Disco2's, then moved onto the MY03 models as I want CDL. Some of the prices people are asking are sliding into the Disco 3 territory so now i'm looking at Disco 3's
I would ultimately like a TDV6 Disco 3 but that would now be stretching my budget (started at 10k when I first started looking at Disco 2's).
So now I've settled on the V8 disco 3 SE/HSE.
There's one i'm looking at now and it has the following problem.
There is gap, about 2cms on the drivers side seat between the back rest, and the bumb rest (Not sure how else to describe it). Initially I thought it must have been the seat settings, but after playing around with it can't get the gap to close. Not sure if the seat has bent out of place, or just worn down to this point. Car only has 145,000K's on the clock.
Apart from that it has a full service history, seems to be in good condition, drives well, engages low range, suspensions lifts, and drops, electrics all good, cruise works.
I've attached a picture so you can see the gap. Wondering is this is an easy fix.
Cheers
