    Pro speed roof carrier

I was driving through Northern beaches of Sydney a few days ago and spotted a D4 with a prospeed carrier.
    Looked very neat and tidy.
Anyone have an idea when one can see them or is it a import yourself job.
    Any info?

expedition vehicle conversions, recreational vehicle conversions, camper conversions, land rover, toyota - Mulgo Pty Ltd - Australia

Not cheap if I recall ($1300 odd?) but agree they look the goods and come with various attachments etc (see the Pro-Speed website) and many on www.disco4.co.uk have them. But I think Mulgo are only doing Container loads one at a time, so you might have to order, commit...and wait...

    cheers

    Thanks S,
I tried the pro speed web site but all I can get after many tries is the splash page...
I will give your referral a call.
I don't see it mentioned on their products page but let's see.
They do look good and much better than what else I have seen.
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
I just emailed them in the UK and Ben emailed me back, mentioning Mulgo and that they would wait for multiple orders. Ben is going to get me a price for shipping to Sydney though. He can also supply the Land Rover short rails (needed) for around the 180GBP mark. Will let you know when I get his shipping costs, but for the standard prospeed rack with composite floor he quoted 650GBP.
    Cheers

Dont forget to add 15% to your order total ( including the shipping ) if going direct. When it arrives.

Not sure what the 15% relates to? GST? (10%)?
    thanks

VAT (UK GST) but I'm not sure you will need to pay that as we aren't UK citizens; I think you should be able to import VAT free; of course GST and import duty may apply as its over $1000.

If your order is valued at over 600 UK pounds,( $1000 or more ) then you will pay 15% when it gets here, 10% Tax 5% duty... simple as that.

Nothing to do with UK VAT at 20%, and not every ones VAT registered in the UK, so it does not always apply...
