I was on a day trip with the GCLRO, and one of the forumites has a V8 D3. Heading up one of the hills, you could hear it.

That one is possibly mine, I had the exhaust modified though to give it a growl

I would buy another V8 (D4) if I ever parted with the D3

Yes it was yours Garry, I just couldn't remember your forum name!

And yes, that growl was very audible even over my V8 D1.
