    D4 snorkel fitting Sydney

who would you guys get to fit a snorkel in Sydney? Have tried a couple of places for accessories, but it seems they don't do many Discos and are 'practising'

    cheers

Any of the ARB or Opposite Lock stores in Sydney will do it.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I would think that Bruce Davis of Davis performance Landies or Graeme Cooper would have done a few and probably know how to waterproof them.

Opposite lock S.Sydney fitted my snorkel. A few hickups but basically all went well. I would suggest you have a discussion about the drain hole in your filter box. Mine was blocked up with silicon during the install to stop water coming up the drain. As i wont be going in water that deep and for long, i think i would rather have left the drain as per original. That way if a lot of water enters via the snorkel during very heavy rain, it could run out of the drain. At the moment i worry that it may collect up in the airbox...although i have never had a problem with that.

If you are the practical type, they are not hard to fit if you take your time
