checking for airleaks in a D3

was wondering if any of the experts can advise a method to check for airleaks in the suspension on the D3?

Assume glands on airlines can be checked by listening and applying soapy water but the airbags??

First isolate the area leaking by leveling the car, disconnecting the battery and leave overnight. If the leak is from the valve-block on, then one specific corner of the car will drop. If either the front or the rear drops, then suspect the valve block itself or the feed to it. If they all drop, then compressor or tank.

    Cheers,

cool thanks mate. I don't think there is a leak as have never seen it droop or go down like you mention.

Just want to eliminate variables before deciding to rebuild or replace the compressor.

Apprantly and according to MR auto there is a new compressor out that has a different mounting bracket as well $1300

Wonder if anybody has a LR P/N for this compressor?

yes that references to the old superseded one. I found the new one on fleabay for about $515 AUD plus shipping.

Think that is the way to go, prob have to go to the stealer though to get the lastest EAS firmware updated.
