It's not just Land Rover it's any modern car that has constant monitoring of the electrical system, particularly ones with fibreoptic systems.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It shouldn't be because they will be on independant switched power.

Make sure you fit in pairs, not a single light bar, the Qld Transport has already put out a notification that single light bars do not comply with ADR, the other states are sure to follow.

    Gosh.

My led light bar has 40 LEDs.....that's 20 pairs of 2.

Be interested to see when this is tested.

There is a light that comes on indicating that a trailer is attached. Not the same thing.

This has all been covered before - as suggested, do a search!!

Unfortunately, ADR13/00 only allows two pair. So, on your argument about the bar being pairs of LED, you will have to block out 18 pair!

Otherwise, I'm just giving people the heads up.

QT have made the following announcements,

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has recently dealt with a number of issues relating to the fitment of LED light bar to the front bumper bar and bull bar on some vehicles. Transport and Main Roads is providing the following advice to assist vehicle owners to comply with regulatory requirements. ...
... In addition to the main-beam (driving) and the low-beam (passing) headlamps, additional driving lamps may be installed as long as they comply with the following requirements:
    • ADR13/00 requires that driving lamps, if fitted, must be fitted in one or two pairs.
The result will be one of three scenarios:
    1. Nothing will happen.
    2. Police and mermaids will start issuing defect notices and fines.
    3. The ADR will change to allow LED light bars.
