I to purchased Brad's sliders, they are great, well made, strong and easy to fit and at the price he sells them for they make most others look extremely expensive to say the least.
I to went with the wide ones and apart there obvious off road usefulness, with them fitted to a D3/4 at extended height you can park in any car park and never worry ever gain about people opening their doors and putting dents in yours. ...;)
Another big tick for Brads sliders. They are very well made at a good price and delivery is quick. They are also very easy to fit.
My wife is also very happy as she is vertically challenged. :wasntme:

Does anybody out there have any pics of Brads sliders fitted on their D3/D4?
Either or both of the narrow sliders and the wider ones?
Yep, be good to see pix of narrow and wide brads sliders fitted, next to each other.
It looks like brads sliders replace the entire lower sill cover, therefore not requiring the cover to be butchered as in figment of factory steps - is that correct?
Also do brads sliders allow for the fitment of factory style mud flaps? Or are we looking at series type flaps to go with the sliders?

Yes they do completely wrap the bottom and side of the sill.

Here is the front detail: no the standard mud flaps don't fit, you can fit your own using truck mudflaps from Supercheap Auto.

As long as your sills are not badly bent they should bolt straight on using the factory fitted treads located in both the side and bottom.
Hint: when fitting the sliders use a trolley jack with a plywood top ( hole or something else to stop it sliding) to raise the sliders into position so you can fit the retaining bolts.

I have be deliberating over narrow versus wide fit for almost a year now, but the last time I contacted Brad he said that he coud make the decision easier for me - he now only makes them in wide fitting! I don't know if he has reversed that decision since then, but it might also make your decision easier too. :)

Can't decide over which rock slider for my Disco 3. The GOE, APT or Brad's wide rock slider? I want the benefit of side steps.

I have recently installed Brad's wide steps and you can see some close ups here. I have stuck some pre-cut black grip tape 2 packets of these from Bunnings) to the top surface and the kids like it a lot (even though they have been surviving for 4 years without it!).Quote:
