Definitely not steampunk - although my kids were quite excited when I mentioned it to them.....
Water has now made its way to the back passenger door and drips out from the bottom of the door opened. Must be the A pillar problem that was the subject of a LR Technical Bulletin. The water is clear and there's plenty of it, it must have built up below the windscreen.
Lowered the glove box and inspected the pollen filter - dry as a bone.
Booked in with the dealer for a proper examination/fix as I can't do much more now.
Thanks all for your comments.
Have you just purchased the vehicle?
Has the vehicle had a new windscreen fitted?
The bulletin in question is pretty easy, just a quick look where instructed will be able to she'd some light, the fix is very easy.
All th best.

Not a recent purchase, have owned this one for a few years and the windscreen is original. Good to hear the fix is simple, I am not great on the tools, still learning, now on my 3rd LR over 20 years.
