    Cause I can see one online for sale at the moment. it clearly looks like eBay letters were ordered and applied.

    Someone has just replaced the decal and put them on the wrong way.

    My wife's last car was a BMW 320d. We had some repair work done on the rear after her backing into the letterbox (BTW the letterbox hasn't moved in 10 years).
    Wasn't until about 2 weeks after the repair that we noticed they have put the 'd' upside down.
    The badge read '320p'.
    Quite funny I thought, however the other half didn't laugh....
