    Rhino roof rack

Hi all. I have just fitted the rack to the D4 and thought I'd share the pic of it and what I did. My Disco came with the factory long racks and Rhino recommend a leg that is quite high, too high for my liking so I bought the legs that suit the Rhino track because they are much lower then I bought the track nut that fits the disco's factory track, works a treat.

Looks good Hoppy 11. Are the rear mounts onto factory cross bars or Rhino bars? If Rhino did you use factory nuts into the tracks as for the front? Regards David

Hi there Blue C, there are no separate cross bars, the legs mount to the racks own cross bars, the rack comes with two fixed cross bars and you need to bolt/ rivit 3 extra cross bars to the rack to suit your vehicle. I used the rhino legs that suit the Rhino roof rails, I had to order the Rhino roof rail nuts to suit the Landrover roof rail

And another, the front legs use a 10mm spacer as the roof rails are not level

Is that a true black option pack, or have you completed yourself? I'm looking at doing the kit myself as it wasn't available on base model ( the max I could stretch my budget)

Yep, it is a true Black option SE, with upgraded sound system, rear air (we often carry extra passenger in the 3rd row), privacy glass etc. it was the first one in WA. Had a 2.7 D3 HSE before this, love the new 8 speed and 3lt

    Hay Hoppy,

Great stuff, looks good!. Do you have the part numbers for the legs and the bolt to fit the LR tracks? I have the 'too high' issue with my Pioneer Platform rack. The legs that Rhino sold me with the rack is as you say too high.

I have the LR long rails same as you.

    Thanks

I will get the part number for you. They are they legs they recommend for the pioneer platform for the discovery when you have no roof rails and you use the Rhino rails
