another 4 months for me

Luckily for me I've been occupied with a heavily pregnant wife and the recent arrival of our twins, so the last 4 months since we ordered the D4 have gone by pretty quickly. But now that it's so close, I'm really starting to look forward to it!

We have had one minor setback though - our VW Tiguan which we had planned to advertise and sell over the next couple of weeks had it's rear door sideswiped by a bus this arvo! Not happy Jan!

Mine was supposed to arrive in August, just got an email that it's already on the ship and should be delivered 30th June.

Spoke to the dealer yesterday, confirmed that we're picking it up on Friday - wooohooo!

If my D4 shipped from Southampton on April 11, what do you think the travel/delivery time would be? My dealer is in South Australia.

I hope the same happens to mine, it was due June 20, be nice if it turns up a couple of weeks earlier for my birthday and June long weekend

Did they tell you the ship? You can track it online. The seem to do a real milk run round the world. I'd say five weeks travel time and then they say up to 14 days to clear customs and do predelivery.
