Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any information (brochures etc) of what the differences are between the first D3's (2005) to the last one. I know that dimensions etc will be the same, but is there much of a difference overall. I've seen more of the earlier ones in my price range so would like to get an idea of the differences.
If anyone has brochures in PDF please feel free to send them through.
Thanks again for your help

For basic info check out Redbook and look up each year and model. Haven't done it for a while but it used to give you a standard fitment list and a options list for each model.
No real glossy pics but lots of detail. For me anyway the decision was quite simple, if you can afford it and find a good one buy a HSV and you will be happy. The other models are good but early HSV's often have more extra's fitted than many new D4 HSV's do now, unless you buy a D4 Luxury pack version that can cost a whole lot more again.
My secondhand 2005 HSE 7 seater model apart from the standard stuff like Sat Nav and fully adjustable electric Captains chairs and rear airconditioning came with plenty of optional extra's including Adaptive Bi xenon headlights, Cool box, Sun and Alpine roof, Logic 7 stereo, e-diff, front parking sensors and factory roof rails. Compare that to what you get in a similar aged SE or S and for a few dollars more you get a whole lot more car.
Be aware there are some, but not many, early five seater HSE's which usually were V8's and they often are very basic, still light years ahead of SE's etc. These usually are very cheaply advertised and if you like the V8 which is a very good engine then they can be a very good buy.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Terry
