    No Longer Nervous D3 (Buyer) Owner

    First Off - Thanks to everyone for advice and information..

    The HSE has been checked out and barring a couple of signatures and quick 12 hour drive to Brisbane and back she's all mine! Sorry dear ours (at least I'll get to know her on the drive back form Brisbane)

    Prior to pick up from the dealer I'm trying to get rear wheel carrier and long range tank fitted - dealer has had little sucess following up this request

    Thought these extras would make a perfect mothers day gift
    Could anyone please point me in the right direction (somone / dealer who can supply and fit on the the next ten days) Really want to impress the missus this year (working on dual batteries for wedding anniversary...)

    If you don't mind me asking, how much are you about to pay for a D3?

    Its hard to get a handle on what they actually sell for as opposed to what is asked.

    so what did you end up getting?
    i have just owned my white 08 D3 se for two months now
    and also looking and getting bits for it.
    i will be fitting a dual battery setup and electric trailer brakes this week
    just working out the 12n and 12s trailer plugs now.

    I just bought an 08 d3 SE Tdv6 80k km for $31k. Full serv history from dealer. (Trade in price was $30k, they needed to sell as new car was waiting for them at dealer). Front bushes had been done and the new AMK compressor fitted and software mod had been done (3rd compressor), also Needed a new transfer box and reco e diff ($6k including a service and a change of tranny fluid.)

    $37k all up, and good to go.

    Included aux battery set up, and LR cargo barrier and roof rails with bars.

    Very happy what a machine.

    Got it for $29k - haggled over book price, average miles etc...of course that backfired a bit on trade in (Bugger)

    Got the HSE 4.4 - Silver with beige interior 144k on the dial, service & logbooks (All recalls completed)

    3" Scratch on passengers side (near bonnet) touched up, 4 near new Cooper 19" ZEON's (5th is a Wrangler @ 50% tread) rims have a few 'been there scars' othewise no other obvious signs of wear & tear

    Comes with the usual risk - if it plays up, it's my fault, if not it is her car!
