My drivers side silblade is noisy. the top 30% of the blade shudders across the screen when going right to left. The blade doesnt seem to be able to apply enough pressure ontothe glass.
There is a new hybrid model wiper from Michelin in the states that the D3 uk site is trialling with good reports.
Haven't sourced a set here in Oz as yet?

Ok - it seems that Sillblade are not as good as they are cracked up to be.
Reading through all the responses it would seem that there is actually a design issue with the drivers side wiper as most seem to have the issue irrespective of the blade. Whether it is an airflow thing or weak springs in the wiper I am not sure but does seem to be a common issue.
I used Rainex when it first came out in the early 70s and it was a no no to use the wipers as it smeared the Rainex - I assume the product has improved. Are there any other products that might lubricate the screen to allow the blades to move smoothly over it?

On the D2 are brilliant.
Quiet and sweep perfect.
On the D4...
Fitted easily
First noticed a lack of contact on top of drivers side blade as it raised (upward sweep)
After a few warm days the arm then moulded better and now has a constant contact.
They are slightly noisy, like a squeegee on first wipe but no screech or judder like the factory blades.
They are then silent.
I always use Rain X, and Rain X washer additive as well on both vehicles.
Overall I'm happy.
I use some cloths designed for exterior glass and they work well - they disperse the water like rainex but the wipers work fine over the top of it. Not sure what the brand is - I'll look when I get homeQuote:

Goodyear make a generic replaxcement that works OK, $10.00 each from Costco. They don't last much more than a season though. The Bosch ones are a direct replacement butare more expensive.
