What tyres are standard on tdv6 my 13?

I have been trying to get a confirmation on the standard tyre for my13 tdv6? I have had 3 different answers from the service department and one from the tyre shop that usually does the tyre changeovers prior to delivery for this particular dealer. Is the confusion because they have changed the tyre for 2013?

However, in a bid to at least try & be helpful...

AFAIK, there isn't a 'standard' tyre and what is fitted is more down to whatever deal can be struck with a supplier at the time. Typically though, it'll probably be a Pirelli, Goodyear or Continental.

That probably explains why I'm getting so many answers. I was going to change them over to cooper zeon ltzs but the tyre dealer wants to charge me 1400 change over, which I thought was rediculous.

I would have thought they come out of the factory with rubber fitted so decision is more about LR and what deal they have secured and less about the dealer ?

But I accept I could be 100% wrong.

Yes, I was talking about LandRover striking the deal with the supplier, for what to fit in the factory, not a dealer...

Are they any good? Or are they the typical crap that manufacturers use these days

My D4 came fitted with Goodyear Wrangler HPs, not a good tyre at all particularly in the wet. They start to deteriorate rapidly once you reach about 40k. I definatly would not get them if I had a choice.

    Wranglers are a rubbish tyre.
On my D3 I cut the side wall on a kerb in the first couple of weeks.
Always got punctures when on unsealed roads.
With D4 first off road trip got a fla; only unsealed road and paddock work.
Had a few sets of GG Ats with no problems.
