I want to show my Disco 4 HSE off and thank all who have helped me.

    Hello AULRO members,

I have been a long time watcher/reader long time non poster, this I hope will now change. I have embarked on a 18 month trek around Australia with my Disco 4 HSE, a Jayco 24 foot Caravan, my Wife, 2 Kids (3yr old Boy and 18mth old Girl) and my Dog.

That is one comprehensively equiped Disco. Not only does it look great but I'm sure it will serve you well on your adventures.

In response to your invite to ask questions.

I would value your opinion on your Great White light bar? They are an expensive bit of kit and I do wonder about real life performance.

The bar is really good for the first 300 meters and its almost like daylight it lights up the side of the road exceptionally. in short if your looking for a spread light these are the go, but if you want to look down the road then the Lightforce XGT 35w HIDS are the go, i think they work very well in tandem.

    Hope this helps

How does the fridge slide bolt in? Have you removed a seat and constructed a frame?

We towed a 21 foot, (triple bunk version) Jayco Sterling from Brisvegas to Airlie Beach a few months ago with our D4 - towed superbly!!

Opp Lock Bunbury did my Black D3 when I was living in Perth, (see my photo gallery) and were fantastic back then too (Peter).

The fridge is using the two bolt holes for the luggage tie downs and a clamping system to fit to the installed seat. I will take some photos and post them tomorrow.

Basically I can use 6 of the 7 seats.

Helps ("hinders") when the in-laws visit.
