Thread: TDV6 Aftermarket Exhaust

+1 for the taipan, have the same on my Def Td5 and the spooling sound of the turbo = awesome. Very happy with it.

TaipanXP was looking for a TDV6 to do a system...

I got a response back from Taipan XP - they do not do them.

Yeah their website mentions they are after both a 2.7 and a 3.0ltr as a test mule Worst thing is they want the car for a week!

That's a shame, at least they are wanting to produce a system for the TDV6. Garry, maybe you should become the test subject, who knows you may end up with a free production version!!

The 2600km round trip is a bit of a stopper.

I dont think anyone worldwide plays with the exhaust on a TDV6. one of the appeals of the Disco 3 is its quietness, but ive recently switched to mud terrain tyres and all you can here is tyre noise. SOme sort of nice exhaust not would be great. Maybe something simple like deleting the rear of centre mufflers perhaps. has anyone got a youtube vid of this activity or is this sort of shinnanigans frowned upon in the TDV6
