My D3 has ARB bull bar & warn winch, Long ranger tank & Kaymar rear bar and water/wheel carrier & Safari snorkel.

Fuel tank - Y filler at fuel point and basic gauge located next to the light dial. I know that my prime tank is 82l and that the Long Ranger takes 102l. I know from milage mostly highway that I can get 1500km+ on both tanks. When prime nearly empty hit the button to fill up the prime again and know that I have about another 30l left in reserve. No issues and very happy with the range I can get.

Kaymar rear bar is a bonus due to its durability. Actually planning on getting a second rear wheel carrier in the next two weeks for a Simmo desert trip and going to swap out the water carrier. THis is one bonus with the Kaymar configuration - duel carrier which is easily swappable.

Rear wheel carrier heaps better than the LR undermount winch which I was caught out on a couple of times as the cable seized up on the trails as well as having to unload the rear, lift up the 7 seater section to get to the cable winch release.

My gas strut uses a short bracket welded to the arm and another bolted under the top left bolt for the catch.

    Here's the strut..

    Auxiliary fuel tank
    Snorkel

Well the quotes varied by about $2000, mainly because ARB only have the Kaymar full rear bar.

But now I have a couple of questions. Opposite Lock quoted me on the Outback Accessories Rear Wheel Carrier and Auxiliary fuel tank. The tank is gravity fed rather than pump, so I know the gauge won't work until the second tank has emptied. Has anyone on here any experience with these tanks. I did search but most of the threads were a couple of years old, so I was wondering if the intervening years have changed anyone's mind.

Also does anybody have any comments about the wheel carrier?

    Thanks
    Mike
I have a Kaymar rear bar and Opposite Lock gravity long range tank in my D4, no complaints here.

I may be able to help you with a rear bar if your interested, PM me for more details.
